Continental Divide Trail 2017

Continental Divide Trail

The Continental Divide Trail (CDT)) is about 3,000 miles and runs between Mexico and Canada. It follows the Continental Divide of the Americas Continental Divide of the Americas along the Rocky Mountains and traverses five U.S. statesMontana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. It is the youngest, most remote, and rugged of the Triple Crown Trails (PCT, CDT, AT). The terrain varies from trail, to roads, to cross-country hiking. In 2017 I thru hiked it! The CDT was everything and then some. It was the most challenging and humbling of all the trails I’ve hiked. Not only did I learn a lot about myself but about the kindness and generosity of the people that reside in this part of the country. Below is an account of how this crazy adventure played out for me!
